Medline’s Ultrasorbs Advanced Drypads offer a solution for effective moisture management and preventing of moisture-associated skin damage (MASD) in the most challenging of care settings.

These breathable and unique disposable drypads are particularly useful in high-dependency wards, like the intensive care, maternity and delivery units, or any other medical setting where moisture will have a moderate to high impact on patients´ skin. Patients undergoing surgeries over three hours long will particularly benefit from the moisture management capabilities of Ultrasorbs Advanced Drypads.

Each pad provides greater comfort by way of an ultra-soft, non-woven top sheet that reduces friction and shear while maintaining its core integrity. It also does not cling to the skin when wet. And to help reduce heat build-up, these pads do not have a plastic back sheet. Therefore, the pad’s breathable four-layered structure allows airflow, thus maintaining an optimal microclimate.

Ultrasorbs Advanced Drypads help enhance patient comfort, thanks to their high-performing, air-laid core with superabsorbent polymers that lock moisture and odours away. Patients’ skin remain dry and strikethrough is prevented. Through this product, we demonstrate our commitment to managing the range of moisture-based needs with a wide sizes and absorption capacity. It is also possible to standardise moisture management across your facility with one item only, if required.

Additionally, Ultrasorbs Advanced Drypads can help lower cross-contamination rates and clean-up time in your facility by using the option that best matches the patient bed size.
